Alkimis has chosen to concentrate its human and professional resources in only one investment strategy. Its multi year track record has allowed Alkimis to emerge as a leader in the world of “absolute return investing”.
HOW WE DO IT
The strategy aims to generate a positive absolute return, with moderate volatility. It invests – purchase and short sale – in International equities selected through a proprietary fundamental approach based on cash flow. The Alpha generated by pairing long and short positions is the main driver of returns. Over time, the strategy has showed a very low correlation with the direction of equity markets. Alkimis does not utilize structured, illiquid or leveraged products.
